Our club has been in existence for over 20 years and easily maintains full membership of 150 flyers. In addition, we have over 30 social members who are also active within the club, not least in helping at our various shows we hold.

We are fortunate, through a lot of hard work and perseverance, to own our flying site, which we purchased in 2002 and covers over 15 acres just outside of Pevensey in East Sussex.

We undertake all types of RC flying (I.C. or electric power), including Sport, Scale, Helicopters, Fun-fly and gliders.

Affiliated to the BMFA, we have 12 Registered Instructors, 7 Examiners and a Chief Examiner who undertake the role of administering the BMFA Achievement Scheme on behalf of the Club, promoting safety and proficiency at all levels.

Most Club members gather at the field on Sunday mornings (as is the case with most clubs!), but the site is open all year round, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day (for those who enjoy night flying - we have a few!).

We have 3 shows at our field each year. Check our HMFC Calendar page for dates. We also have a fairly full agenda throughout the summer months for club events for members.
